Do you want to fine-tune your swim strokes? Or perhaps you want to beat your personal best. We have the program for you in our Swim Stroke Training opportunities below. In our Swim stroke training, we work hard with our swimmers to work on their leg kick, timing, arm cycles and breath work. When a swimmer works on all four of these areas, separately and together, this will result in a huge improvement in their speed and endurance and overall swim success.
Swim Team offers participants pre-competitive swimming that focuses on swim stroke training, speed, open-turn closes and sprints. Personal Best (PBs) will be taken throughout the session and will be used to motivate and help with goal-setting.
Lifesaving Sport offers participants a recreational introduction to Lifesaving Sport skills. The program also teaches team building, fair play, ethics in sport and responsibility. Lifesaving Sport competition opportunities are available through in-house time trials, regional competitions and provincial Lifesaving Sport events! Candidates are required to have at least passed Swimmer 4 in order to participate in this program.
Our Stroke Lab focuses on perfecting various strokes, ensuring that front crawl, breaststroke and back crawl are streamlined and efficient. Students will work on building endurance and increasing speed, creating and working towards personal goals throughout the session.
